In addition to his membership in orchestras and his soloist activities, Jozef Hošek cooperated with numerous chamber ensembles as well as leading domestic performers. Besides Slovak performances he played in concerts in Germany, Spain, Switzerland, France, England, Luxemboug, Austria and Japan. He recorded for Slovak Radio Bratislava.
Currently Hošek is focused on pedagogical and methodical activities and he even teaches since finishing studies in Bratislava. Since 1982 he teaches at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (first as external, since 1983 as internal pedagogue, 1996 assistant professor), where he raised numerous graduates. Today they are successful soloists and players of chamber ensembles: Peter Vrbinčík, Peter Šesták, Anna Caudtová, Róbert Lakatoš, Ľudmila Hošková and others. He regularly sits on the juries of international competitions (e.g . International Competition of Soloists in Hradec nad Moravicí in Czech Republic), he is the head of the Competition of Slovak Conservatories in viola playing and the head of school exit exams at the Conservatory in Bratislava.
