Bálint Kovács attended master classes: Piešťany (Tosiyuki Uzukaore), Nyírbátor (Konrád György), Sion (Gérard Caussé).
He is a founder and member of the string quartet Pressburger Quartett and currently a leader of the viola section in the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
