Filip Jaro attended master classes in Stuttgart (Tomáš Lom) and professional lessons in Brno (Miloslav Gajdoš, Miloslav Jelínek, Jiří Valenta, Jiří Hudec, Wolfgang Guttler, Catalin Rotaru) and Vienna (Herbert Mayr).
He played in several international orchestras as first double bassist, under the conducting of Riccardo Mutti, Xavier Ricour, Aleš Podařil, Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Ondrej Lenárd and others.
He cooperates also with string quartet Mucha Quartet and pianist Xénia Jarová in event focused on propagation of the double bass as solo instrument. He is a member of the double bass ensemble BASYNASE.
