From 1972 to 2012 he served as a faculty member at the Conservatory in Bratislava, where he taught conducting, choral performance, and aural analysis, and directed the Conservatory Choir. He has also presented premieres of numerous works from the Slovak choral repertoire." (Martin Králik, Hudobný život 11/2025, vol. 57, pp. 22–25)

Dušan Bill completed his initial higher education at the Faculty of Education of the P. J. Šafárik University in Prešov, where he studied music education and Russian language pedagogy. His professional specialization in choral conducting was later advanced at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he pursued formal artistic training under the guidance of Peter Hradil.
