While the sonorous elements (glissandos, tremolos, aleatory) express drama, the melodic line reflects pain and tragedy, in some places resembling the archaic weepers. This contrast, which terms the idea that the contents is divided into several layers, makes this quartet reflective in its depth and suggestive in its impression on the listener.
\n (Marta Földešová, in: CD booklet Chamber Music 2, Hudobný fond 1993)
\n
\n        \n\n
\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n                \n                \n                08.12.1991,\n                Sunday Matinees at the Bratislava City Gallery,\n                Mirbach Palace,\n                Bratislava,\n                SK\n\n
Performers: Quartetto Cassoviae\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n"}
