The choir Ad Una Corda has a long-standing tradition, with its roots dating back to 1867, when a choral society was founded in Pezinok.

At present, the choir focuses primarily on the interpretation of both classical and modern sacred music. In its performances, it often collaborates with professional orchestras (such as the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra, the Bohdan Warchal Slovak Chamber Orchestra, and others). In April 2022, the choir performed together with the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Oliver Dohnányi in a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s oratorio Christ on the Mount of Olives.

Since 1987, the choir has been conducted by Marián Šipoš.
