The premiere concert of the orchestra was held in February 2014, conducted by Rastislav Štúr. Members of the orchestra are prominent Slovak, Czech and Austrian artists. The artistic director of the orchestra is the violinist Alan Vizváry, a member of the Slovak Philharmonic under whose leadership the orchestra successfully realized, among others, the Slovak premiere of 4th Symphony by Mahler arranged by A. Schoenberg.
For the short period of its existence the ensemble introduced itself in separate concerts as well as acting as the accompanying orchestra of prominent artists. In 2014 the orchestra performed as a guest at the gala concert of the 20th anniversary of the Foundation Memory together with tenor Miroslav Dvorský, in 2015 performed at the festival Haydn Days in Hamburg, and it played its debut concerts in Slovak Philharmonic. Hilaris Chamber Orchestra organized several charitable concerts such as Concert for Ukraine or for the Foundation Ľudia ľuďom (People to People). In 2015 the orchestra cooperated on a CD recording with Russian artists Alexei Kornienko and Elena Denisova and in August 2015 it performed at the festival Viva Musica!, where it accompanied soprano Simona Houda Šaturová. In October 2015 it realized a concert cycle in Moyzes Hall in Bratislava named “Serenády pre radosť – vášeň pre hudbu”/Serenades for Pleasure – Passion for Music, and it also offers concert series of the project “Hudba na zámkoch”/The Music at Castles.
Hilaris Chamber Orchestra cooperated with the number of other artists such as violoncellists – Jelena Očić, Michael Flaksman, Florian Eggner, Lukáš Polák, violinists – Dejan Bogdanovic, Elena Denisova, violists Sergey Rakitchenkov, pianists – Viktor Bogino, Svetlana Bogino, Vladimir Ogarkov, and conductors – Alexander Rahbari, Alexei Kornienko, Rastislav Štúr, Peter Feranec, Zdeněk Klauda.
