The Albrecht Trio was founded in 2021 by three members of the Slovenská filharmónia. Through their artistic work, they aim to contribute to spreading the legacy of two important figures of Bratislava: the conductor, composer, and teacher Alexander Albrecht, and the musicologist, musician, art historian, and educator Ján Albrecht. The trio focuses on promoting works by Bratislava-based and Slovak composers, while enriching the dramaturgy of their concerts with pieces by major representatives of world music.

At a concert at the Dom Albrechtovcov in July 2021, they presented, among other works, the premiere of Wind Trio No. 2 by Ilja Zeljenka. They also performed at the festivals Hudba Modre and Bratislavské hudobné slávnosti (2021). With an independent program in the Štátna filharmónia Košice chamber concert series, they introduced works by Jacques Ibert, Ján Podprocký, Ľudovít Rajter, Alexandre Tansman, and Georges Auric.
