Lucia Chuťková
Slovak composer. Studied composition at Bratislava Conservatory (Peter Martinček) and at the Academy of Performing Arts (Evgeny Irshai). From 2000 she was a member of the Hvozd ensemble, and in 2007–2010 she was active in the experimental grouping Musica Falsa et Ficta and in the audiovisual project Frutti di Mare. She completed composition courses in the project entitled Haydn, the Progressive in Eisenstadt, performance and composition courses for composers and percussionists in Trstěnice, and composition courses at the Ostrava Days of New Music. Her music has been heard at festivals including Melos Ethos, the International Festival of Concert Melodrama in Prague and the theatrical festival TRAVERSES – à la rencontre des théâtres des Pays d’Europe in Nancy, Dotyky a spojenia and Nová dráma. She composes symphonic and vocal-instrumental works and also music for theatre and film.
