Jozef Kováčik

Jozef Kováčik plays oboe and English horn in Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina. Previously he was a member of the Military Artistic Ensemble Bratislava. Almost at the same time he entered Slovak Sinfonietta he became a member of two chamber ensembles set in the field of the Sinfonietta – wind nonet Armonia Slovacca and Suchoň's Quintet. Naturally, within his artistic activities dominates chamber and orchestral playing over the soloist playing. As a member of the Slovak Sinfonietta and the two other mentioned ensembles he performs mainly within subscribers concerts in the House of Arts Fatra Žilina, but also in many other Slovak places and abroad.
