Magdaléna Bajuszová regularly performs at leading domestic festivals and showcases (Melos-Étos, Convergences, New Slovak Music, Albrechtina, and in the past Evenings of New Music, etc.), and has repeatedly appeared at the Bratislava Music Festival. As a soloist, she has collaborated with all the major domestic orchestras (Slovak Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of the Slovak Radio in Bratislava, ŠKO Žilina, Cappella Istropolitana, and others). She is also a sought-after chamber musician – for example, she has collaborated with violinist Juraj Čižmarovič, cellist Ján Slávik, soprano Božena Ferancová, the Mucha Quartet, and for several years has worked with violinist Milan Paľa.

Her repertoire covers a broad spectrum of the most significant piano works from all historical and stylistic periods, up to contemporary composers. A significant part of her artistic activity involves presenting and promoting lesser-known, challenging piano pieces as well as original works by Slovak and Czech composers, many of which are dedicated to her, and she has premiered several of them. She has released several CD albums for labels such as Music Centre, Academy of Performing Arts, Music Information Centre, Real Music House, Diskant, Hevhetia, Music Fund, and others, mostly featuring works by Slovak composers. She has also recorded numerous works for the Slovak Radio and Television, as well as for Czech Radio. Among her recorded works are solo albums featuring compositions by Ilja Zeljenka, the complete piano works of Štefan Németh-Šamorínsky, an album of the extremely challenging 9 Preludes by Jozef Kolkovič, and the CD Piano Suite in the 20th Century I and II. Her most recent albums include live concert recordings released by Music Centre: 24 Preludes by Ilja Zeljenka, a double album with the complete works of Alexander Albrecht, and a double album Slovak Piano Sonatinas I and II.

She is a recognized figure not only in the field of music performance but also in piano pedagogy. Since 2006, she has been teaching at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, and since 2015, she has served as an associate professor of piano performance, later also becoming the head of the Department of Keyboard Instruments. She also worked at the Private Conservatory of D. Kardoš in Topoľčany (2004–2011).

In 2010, she was awarded the Frico Kafenda Prize "for outstanding interpretative performances."

In 2016, she gave a piano recital in the Small Hall of the Slovak Philharmonic, and in 2017, she performed a piano recital at the Sunday Matinee in the Mirbach Palace as part of the Melos Étos festival.
